Hereford Cathedral Trip

This week our KS2 pupils visited Hereford Cathedral as part of our RE lessons. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn and reflect on the Easter story, to find out about the history of the building and it’s architecture.

Coding Micro:Bits

Our Sharks class created animations with code which lit up the LEDs on our BBC Micro:Bits. https://microbit.org/get-started/what-is-the-microbit/ Next week we will be adding variables and a selection of different inputs to make a Polling Station.

Anti-Bullying Week

All the children wore odd socks to school on Anti-bullying Day. It was an opportunity to talk about and celebrate our differences.

World Book Day 2023

Last Thursday, the children enjoyed dressing up as either their favourite character from a book or poem for World Book Day. Throughout the day, the children engaged in a range of activities linking to poems and stories. The children in pre-school made gingerbread for the whole school….they were delicious!

Save Our Rainforests

In Geography, KS2 children have been learning about rainforests around the world. We have been learning about deforestation and the impact this has, not only on the rainforests but the whole world. The children then produced posters to inform people, as well as persuade them to help to change their behaviour.
