At St Weonards we aim to provide a rich variety of experiences to engage and inspire our pupils to further their learning. Our pupils visit local places of interest including Hereford Cathedral and Hereford Courtyard, but they are also given the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities from multi-skills days to a baptism at St Weonards church. The children also experience taking part in HMFA sporting events such as football, netball and rounders. The children also experience Young Voices, Moving Targets and a residential trip to Oakerwood in UKS2.
Visitors from all walks of life are invited to our school to work with our children.
These include The Dogs Trust, Roaming Reptiles, our local vicar and even Father Christmas and the reindeers take time out of their busy schedule to visit our youngest pupils. Our visitors provide exciting workshops for the children to develop their passion for art, sport, history and music.
