No Pens Day

On Wednesday 27th November the whole school celebrated No Pens Day. This was an opportunity to put down our pencils and put our speaking and understanding skills in the spotlight. The children enjoyed taking part in a range of different activities. In English, we practised spelling our common exception words using newspaper letters.

In Maths, fractions of amounts was our focus. We used cubes and practical objects to support our learning.

Lego was used in Science to create represent ways in which we promote good hygiene.
