The Romans have invaded!

In History, KS2 children are learning all about The Romans. At the beginning of term Dolphin Class was turned into a ‘museum’. The children got to explore a range of artefacts and research them. This got the children really engaged, wanting to know more and more about this time era.

Easter Celebrations

Dolphin Class have been practising their weaving skills while making their fantastic Easter cards. We have also been learning about the Easter Story and created Easter baskets. The children also took part in a competition where they had to decorate an egg. Well done Dolphin Class!

British Science Week!

Last week we celebrated British Science Week at St Weonards Academy. We incorporated all areas of the curriculum into a fun filled week based on the theme ‘Innovating for the future’. The children engaged in a wide range of scientific experiments and entered two competitions. We even designed our very own inventions!
