In D.T, KS2 have been focusing on their cooking skills this half term. The children prepared a three course meal as part of our Come Dine With Me unit of work. The starter was a tomato and garlic bruschetta. The main course was oven baked salmon served with a side salad of olives, peppers, tomatoes and feta cheese as well as a honey and ginger sauce. The dessert was fresh fruit salad. The children learnt how to cut using the ‘bridge’ and ‘claw’ technique. Well done KS2, super work!
