Today KS2 children have been creating pieces of art and reading a range of war poems. We discussed the language used within the poems, what inferences we could make as well as discussing the use of emotive language. We all joined together as a school for a two minutes silence as well to pay our respects to those who have and continue to protect us. In addition, we also had the opportunity to look at medals who belong to a current soldier.
