Rock Exploration

Year 3 and 4 are currently learning about rocks in Science. This week the children were given time to explore a range of rocks using magnifying glasses. The children were able to see fossils, crystals and the distinct layers of formation (sedimentary). The children also discovered that there are three different types of rock. We are going to be investigating this even further next week.
